Hitting a High Note for the Clearwater Festival
Our multi year campaigns for the Clearwater Music and Environmental Festival
— the Great Hudson River Revival — founded by the legendary
Pete Seeger over 40 years ago, successfully positions this annual event
as an exciting weekend of music, dance and storytelling, and a celebration
of environmental education and activism. Public relations include press
releases and PSAs to print and broadcast outlets, as well as extensive
and proactive follow-up and relationship-building with local media. The
results have been music to the Festival's ears, with extensive talent
interviews on popular television and radio stations, feature article placement
in all major area media, and on-site media relations. Other tactics contributing
to our success include: ads we created and placed in regional magazines
and newspapers, regional TV spots, direct mail, bus posters, and online
advertising and marketing.
Every year, the marketing campaign drives record numbers
of visitors to the Festival's website, and attracts well over 15,000 people
to the weekend event, each year surpassing previous advance ticket sales
and attendance figures.
